EiM Coaching*
EiM Coaching offers a range of custom services:
- 1:1 multi-sport consultation (e.g. duathlon, triathlon)
- 1:1 single-sport consultation (e.g. marathon, cycle-sportif, open-water swimming)
- 1:1 personal training
- Mental skills coaching (e.g. performance mindset, coping with adversity or pre race anxiety)
- Analysis and evaluation of swim stroke, bike technique or run economy
- Nutritional advice and planning
- Workshops on elements of endurance
The EiM | Coaching method:
- An initial free consultation so that I can develop an understanding of you such as your level of athletic ability, experience and goals.
- If we agree that I can support you, we can work together to further assess your needs as well as identify an approach and timeline that suits both athlete and coach. This can include (but is not limited to) the following services:
- A weekly structured personalised training plan based on the progressive overload model delivered by an agreed method (e.g. Training Peaks, email).
- Tailored sessions with a specific focus for you to work on, for example to develop technique, mental skills or pacing through specific drills
- Physiological testing every 4-6 weeks to track your improvement from baseline assessments
- An agreed number and method of contact hours per month depending on level of support identified, time constraints and race specificity (e.g. in-person, Skype, FaceTime, telephone, via email)
- Advice on planning your race season - A, B and C race selection
- Training and race-day nutritional and hydration advice
- Gear advice
- Support on all aspects of race day preparations
